In our Native cultures, we have the gift of a warrior heritage. Our ancestors took their Creator-given talents and abilities, and developed them over a lifetime so they could better serve their tribe. Those powerful warrior attributes are part of who we’ve always been and who we are today. If we harness them, we can unleash a completely new level of achievement in our professional and personal lives.
The Key to an Extraordinary Future Lies in Our Own History
Internationally-renowned speaker D.J. Eagle Bear Vanas is a tribally-enrolled member of the Odawa Nation of Michigan and has spoken to 500 tribal nations over the past two decades. He has inspired Native audiences from the Arctic Circle of Alaska to the wetlands of Florida, the mountains of Maine to the islands of Hawaii.
D.J. uses traditional warrior spirit principles to empower others to find clarity in chaos, lead with courage, and succeed, regardless of circumstances, as our ancestors did. His presentations address the most important issues for our Native communities, focusing on ways to immediately improve employee engagement, strengthen motivation and results, and cultivate leaders of character. Participants leave his sessions feeling motivated, recharged, and committed to lead from within, and ultimately impact, Indian Country.
“His sessions leave you feeling energized and ready to conquer the world! I would highly recommend D.J. Vanas to any company or organization ready to make a big change in the way they train and motivate their employees by allowing him to show them the true warriors they are meant to be.”

POPULAR KEYNOTES & SPEAKING TOPICS
Victory by Design
Victory is not born from waiting for a better economy, a new administration, the perfect moment or the exact mix of resources – it’s about using what we have right now, around us and within us, to create success. Your tribal citizens, clients and coworkers deserve the best service you can provide them – regardless of circumstances – and this program will empower and inspire you to do just that. You’ll learn how to use warrior spirit principles to leverage your precious supplies of time and energy into results, creating clarity to get more done, adopt a resilient mindset that is fiercely focused on solutions, and to understand that the business of warriors can make us warriors in the business of building better communities. The program is created to be engaging, motivating and entertaining but most importantly, it’s created to show your people that victory in what they do does not depend on luck, chance or hope. Victory is by design!
